We will be collecting donations for the Trans Women of Color Collective during the event!

There will be 6 rounds with 6 questions each, with a maximum of 6 people per team. Prepare for questions about all six seasons AND relevant L Word-adjacent content (study up on that cast and that era)! The winning team will rewarded a TBD prize that Bette would surely frown upon just as she would a community art show!

Turn Up the Trans*mission: Philadelphia Trans Wellness Conference

Combining trans* advocacy with live performance, Turn Up the Trans*mission is a variety show with no equal. Including burlesque, drag, live-singing, spoken word, and other performance styles, this varied collection of artists has a purpose. Community building and visibility are two main goals of the show, and as such, all donations to our show go directly to the performers/cast/crew.

Our programming aims to create a space for trans* identified performers to express their art without fear of prejudice. We are here to create awareness and share our experiences to break down barriers of bigotry. Turn Up the Trans*mission has featured local and visiting transgender and/or non-binary and/or gender non-conforming artists, and strives to introduce new performers to their lineup every show.

Philly Dyke Ride After Party

Philly Dyke Ride is BACK, and so is the Dyke Ride After Party—just in time to kick off Pride Month!

The Dyke Ride is a group bicycle ride through the neighborhoods of Philadelphia starting at 2pm.  After the ride, all are welcome to stop by TMOMs for a FREE meet-and-greet with Philly Dyke March organizers, crafty fun, & happy hour specials. This year’s march is scheduled for June 9th, and we invite you to come learn more about riding with Dykes on Bikes and pick up an awesome 2018 PDM shirt.

Accessibility info:
Bikes and riders of all types welcome. Bike parking is available in front of Tattooed Mom. Bring a lock if you plan to stay after the ride. There is a 3-inch step up to french doors at the entrance of TMOMs, as well as a step up in the middle of the bar heading back to the bathrooms. The after ride event will take place upstairs and is not wheelchair accessible.

L Word QUIZZO night

The L Word. When we were baby queers figuring our shit out, it was there for us.  Whether you loved it or you loved to hate watch it…this show still remains an essential part of our collective queer repertoire.

With the recent news of a reboot, we thought it would be a great time to test your knowledge on all six original seasons. So buckle up in your Subaru, practice your toilet sex, get the Dos Equis in the cooler, write a short story that magically becomes a novel/screenplay overnight, & STUDY UP for a night of quizzo!  (and maybe some talking laughing loving breathing etc.)

*This event is open to all people of all genders & sexuality!*

-Doors at 7 pm/ Quizzo at 7:30
-Come prepared with a team of max 5 people, and of course a team name
-Total of 6 rounds (1 for each season!) with 10 questions each
