Sketchubator! LIVE

Philly Sketchfest and My First Sketch return to Tattooed Mom to host another live and in-person sketch comedy open mic. Comedians all over Philadelphia can sign up at sketchubator.com/signup to read and perform their sketches with the help of some of the most experienced and funniest sketch writers and performers in the area. Hosted by Josh Higham of My First Sketch, Sketchubator is a chance for the city’s sketch comedians to hang out, have a drink, eat some food, and share some laughs. Sketches, character bits, and monologues should be under five minutes with the hopefully unnecessary reminder that Philly Sketchfest will not condone hateful material.

Prepare all your erogenous zones for another edition of Slutty Poems Night. This is a free event but donations are encouraged for Project SAFE, a local harm reduction organization.

Amy Jannotti slinks in to start the night as opener followed by an equally sexy feature set by Kate Carey.

Bring your hoe shit for the open mic hosted by the effervescent Elayna Mae Darcy. If you’re too shy to share, feel free to shove something into our (anonymous confessions) box.

Stevie Laney, erotic artist extraordinaire and founder of Very Magazine & Megan Sanders, the mental health art mom of Out of Practice Arts will both have wares available for sale.

Next In Line Comedy: Free F#ckin’ Comedy Show // February 2023

Recently voted “Best Comedy Night” by Philly Mag, Next In Line Comedy is a Philadelphia-based comedy collective run by comedians Manny Brown and Tyler Wolf. The group has also been featured in PhillyVoice and Thrillist.

Next In Line is now bringing the dopest comedy showcase in town to Tattooed Mom’s on Wednesday, February 8th at 8pm (Doors at 7pm) and it’s Free.99!

The show gives quickly rising comedians, who are ‘next in line,’ a space to work on their acts while providing Philly audiences a chance to watch incredible stand-up comedy at a low price, in this case for FREE. Shows have featured top comics from NYC, LA, Philly, and beyond, with credits from Comedy Central, Netflix, HBO, MTV, and more!

Join us for an evening of poetry and jazz from local Philadelphian authors, musicians, and performers.

Join local Philly favorites for a night of poetry, jazz and improvisation. The uniquely American tradition of jazz poetry goes back generations, and it is still alive and well here in Philadelphia’s vibrant creative scenes. Admission is free! Enjoy a drink, listen to some healing sounds, and stick around for the open mic portion at the end of the night. You won’t want to miss it!
