SCRIBES ON SOUTH is a poetry reading and open mic. The reading begins with a 20-minute featured reader and then moves through the open mic list for the rest of the night. Open mic readers have 5 minutes. There will be a space for poets to sell books.

Corey Qureshi is a writer and musician based in Philadelphia. He wrote and published 3 chapbooks of poetry. He edits and physically produces BOXX Press.

Kat Giordano was born in philadelphia and it’s been downhill ever since. their third poetry collection, THUMBSUCKER, is available for preorder from malarkey books. they are also the author of two other poetry collections, a novel, and several embarrassing internet meltdowns. kat is very cool. you like them.
