More Fun Upstairs
From the first tag to the latest wheat paste, upstairs at TMom’s has been home to a rich history of local & international street art. This is an ever changing gallery: an un-curated & spontaneous outpouring of creativity by local & traveling artists and the countless visitors who leave their unique mark here nightly.
The birth of the upstairs as a vibrant art space is in part tied to a 1999 exhibition by brothers Noah & Nathan Rice. That year the Brothers Rice brought their umbrella wheat pastes we’d been admiring around South Street to Mom’s. All 5000 of them.
Sticker art has been an important part of the upstairs at Mom’s since day one. So it’s a huge honor (and a lot of fun) to be the home of the Sticky Art Machine.

Split Thy Skull, Philadelphia’s longest running barleywine festival returns here on Saturday April 19, 2014 from 1- 6pm. We’re putting together an amazing selection of a dozen regional and national barelywines to delight the senses in big, bold & beautiful ways. We are proud to announce the call for entries for Characters Welcome 2: An International Sticker Show. We love the community of sticker artists that meet, exchange ideas and leave behind tokens of their amazing art here. Characters Welcome celebrates that community and reaches out to artists all over the world to show their best hand drawn and printed sticker art. Some photos from our first Characters Welcome show can be seen on our flickr page. Our most recent Characters Welcome photos can be seen on our Instagram.
First time artists will be show side by side with the seasoned titans. All are welcome to submit. Stickers need not be character based. We prefer hand drawn stickers but printed stickers are also very much welcome. The stickers will be displayed in a show this Fall here at Tattooed Mom as well as at an all ages venue to be announced. The boards with the compiled stickers as well as suplus sticker packs will be available for sale with 100% of all sales going to benefit the inspiring youth arts programs at CRED gallery and Village Arts.
We hope you will share your sticker art with us and the world through Characters Welcome and spread the word about the show to your fellow artists, friends and family.

One of the most popular new cocktails on our Winter Cocktail menu, The Heatmiser, is the inspiration for the first sweet collaboration with our friends and neighbors at Cookie Confidential. Made with love and local and organic ingredients, the Heatmiser Cupcake is a tasty treat with a little kick. A spiced Spodee and Sailor Jerry cupcake is frosted with an Art in the Age Snap infused cream cheese frosting and then topped with an Italian Market sourced cinnamon stick & candied ginger garnish.

We’re celebrating Oktoberfest all September long with our Bottle Beer of the Month. Spaten Oktoberfest, created in 1872, is the world’s first Oktoberfest (Ur-Maerzen) beer. King Ludwig I would no doubt enjoy hanging out at T Mom’s, drinking this medium bodied amber colored beer with it’s impeccable balance of roasted malt flavor & perfect amount of hops. Prost!
