More Fun Upstairs
From the first tag to the latest wheat paste, upstairs at TMom’s has been home to a rich history of local & international street art. This is an ever changing gallery: an un-curated & spontaneous outpouring of creativity by local & traveling artists and the countless visitors who leave their unique mark here nightly.
The birth of the upstairs as a vibrant art space is in part tied to a 1999 exhibition by brothers Noah & Nathan Rice. That year the Brothers Rice brought their umbrella wheat pastes we’d been admiring around South Street to Mom’s. All 5000 of them.
Sticker art has been an important part of the upstairs at Mom’s since day one. So it’s a huge honor (and a lot of fun) to be the home of the Sticky Art Machine.
Love & Good Times Always
As the tempertures take a dip we’ve been crafting a cocktail that will warm your heart as only your French Vietnamese tattooed mother can. Introducing the Cafe Me, our take on the traditional Vietnamese coffee but with a bit of a French kick. Made with love and Vietnamese French roast coffee, sweetened condensed milk and peach raspberry Grand Marnier. Enjoy!
Space is the place and this galactic delight is your launching pad to fun! Another permanent installment on our unique signature cocktail menu, the Pop Rocket is a fizzy and fun-filled drink that is simply out-of-this-world. An enticing blend of Stolichinaya raspberri, raspberry liqueur, lemon soda, and pop rocks candy, let this intergalactic babe take you on a journey that transcends the time-space continuum.
We’re really excited to announce the call for submissions for Characters Welcome 5: An International Sticker Art Show. We love the community of sticker artists that meet, exchange ideas and leave behind tokens of their amazing art here. Characters Welcome celebrates that community and reaches out to artists all over the world to show their best hand drawn and printed sticker art. Some photos from past Characters Welcome shows can be seen on our Instagram.
All are welcome to contribute to Characters Welcome 5. First time artists will be shown side by side with the seasoned titans. Stickers need not be character based. We prefer hand drawn stickers but printed, silk screened & collaged stickers are also very much welcome.
The stickers will be displayed in a show here on Friday November 11, 2016 from 7pm – 2am (21+) and Saturday November 12 from 1-5pm (all ages). The boards with the compiled stickers as well as suplus sticker packs will be available for sale. We’ll have some very special raffle items and rad day of show suprises. 100% of ALL sales will go to benefit inspiring youth local arts programs.
We hope you will share your sticker art with us and the world through Characters Welcome and spread the word about the show to your fellow artists, friends and family. The creative exchange and collaboration of this show is at the very heart of what we love to do here at Mom’s.

Huge thanks and much love to all the artists who contributed stickers and all the good folks who came out to support Characters Welcome 3. It was our biggest show yet with sticker art from all over the world, more compilation boards than ever and tons of sticker packs sold. All going to benefit the good work of Fleisher Art Memorial Community Partnership in the Arts and The Village of Arts & Humanities youth arts programs.
We have a few unsold compliation boards available for $25 each. Local pick up is strongly preferred as shipping will be close the board cost. Each of the available boards are featured below. Saturday and Sunday afternoons here are always a good time. Weekly Sunday arts & crafts, pop up trunk shows, the occasional doggie birthday party and more all add to the weekend flavor. And now we’ve added a new brunch food and cocktail menu to seal the deal that weekends at Mom’s RULE.
Stop in, feast on a Chubby Changa or Breakfast Bomb Pita Pizza, and you’ll understand why brunch is one meal covering the traditional two of breakfast and lunch. Or revive yourself with a delicious Mañana de los Muertos or Beermosa cocktail, two of our five new afternoon brunch liquid delights. See you this weekend at Mom’s!
Take one look around Mom’s and you’ll know how much we love street art. Nearly every inch of the upstairs bar is covered in work from street artists from all around the world. We are proud to be a place where artists can come together to test out ideas and collaborate and street art can live on off the street.
Our friend RX in Portland, Oregon made some very rad, one of a kind, hand printed coasters for us. We’re looking to share the love and give away 4 sets of unique coaster 4 packs. It’s really simple to enter and win:
